For Practitioners
At The Collaborative, we currently have space to bring on one practitioner who wishes to work during the week, for a minimum of 3 days. We also have space available for practitioners who may wish to work weekends.

Being a therapist or a counsellor can be a lonely profession, with a high rate of burnout. Creating community and systems of support is an essential part of building a practice that will stand the test of time.

Part of the way we build community support at The Collaborative, is through peer supervision. All practitioners are welcome to join us at regularly scheduled peer supervision to discuss client cases and practice challenges. This helps foster an environment where therapists can support one another, enhance and improve their unique personal practice, and build professional relationships they can rely upon when difficult clinical situations arise. Practitioners are expected to do their utmost to disguise any identifying client information, and recuse themselves from conversation if they become aware of a dual relationship or conflict of interest.
It is our hope to build a team of clinicians who not only provide and maintain a high standard of work, but to also build relationships between practitioners who can confidently make referrals to one another and help each other maintain a full and robust practice, while also helping the people our clients care about access quality care.

We do not charge referral fees or take a cut of your session fee, and our association fees are competitive with other practices in town.

Our Space
Our offices are located centrally in downtown Stratford, at 206 Ontario Street, suite 101. We have a variety of spaces available for use, and operate our space similar to that of a work-sharing environment.

The space is newly renovated with updated AC and heating systems, good soundproofing, and access to a building wide board room for any groups that you may wish to run.

Practitioners retain control and autonomy over their own practices. We will never access your client records, interact with your clients, or collect payment for client sessions.

The only fee we collect is based off the size of office you chose, and the amount of time you would like to spend using it.

It is important to us that you are able to build the business you want as an independent contractor, while also finding the balance of community that group practices can offer.
